NADA NY 2024
Jenny Jisun Kim – Z. Susskind

May 2 – May 5 2024

Entrance is excited to return to NADA NY. Our two person presentation features new work by Jenny Jisun Kim and Z. Susskind.

Jenny Jisun Kim (b. 1991, Hong Kong) lives and works in Jersey City, NJ. She received a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and is currently a graduate candidate at the Milton Avery Graduate School of Art at Bard college. In addition to her painting practice, Kim is an accomplished translator, who specializes in the translation of Korean poetry into English. Kim’s paintings formally interpret the dynamic and often imperfect nature of translation. Through technique and subject matter, Kim’s paintings and installations reflect the idea that translation is not a one-to-one conversion but a fluid and unfixed aspect of language and human connection.

Z. Susskind (b. 1986, Los Angeles, CA) lives and works in New York City. His sculptures and image-objects have been shown in the United States and Europe since 2008, including at Gladstone Gallery, David Zwirner, and Kasmin Gallery in New York, Galerie Rodolphe Janssen in Brussels, ReMap in Athens, Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali in Polignano a Mare, Italy and Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Deurle, Belgium.
